Post
Seven-point posture is the most common meditation position:
- Sit on cushion, legs crossed
- Hands in meditation mud or resting on knees
- back straight, head centered
- Shoulders relaxed and down
Time
- Beginner: 5-10 minutes
- Intermediate: 15-30 minutes
- Advanced: 45-60 minutes
Breathing
Counting breath
- Inhale slowly for 4 counts

When thoughts arise, do not judge or pursue. Simply bring attention back to the breath.
Imagine thoughts as clouds in the sky - coming and going. You. Also label them: "This is worry" or "this is memory." Then let them drift away.
