An ordinary personwith a quiet corner inside
I'm an ordinary person. I go to work, live my life, and get anxious like everyone else. But I have a quiet corner inside — sitting in a temple for a while, feeling the mala beads on my wrist, brewing a pot of tea. It's not spiritual practice. It's just that in those moments, the world gets a little less noisy. Most people around me don't understand why I go to temples. But when I hand them an amulet, every single person accepts it.
Later I thought, maybe people all over the world are like this — they don't need to understand any religion, but they all long to be comforted by something. So I made this space, to pass along the things from Eastern culture that settle the mind, in a simple and beautiful way, to everyone's hands.
"They don't believe in Buddha, but they want the amulet. Because humans are born wanting to be blessed."
